What the service is
RegistryAtlas provides free lookup and reference tools built on public government data: state business-registry searches, EIN lookups covering SEC-registered companies and nonprofits (plus guidance for finding your own EIN), NAICS and SIC code references, and nonprofit records. We compile, organize, and present this public information — we don't create it, and we don't charge you to search it.
RegistryAtlas is an independent lookup and reference site — not a government agency, and not affiliated with any Secretary of State, the IRS, or the SEC. Records shown here come from official public sources and can lag the source registry; always confirm details with the state registry before relying on them. Some links on this site are affiliate links (for example to LLC-formation or registered-agent services) — if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we show in a record.
No warranty; verify with the official source
The site and everything on it are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. Government records pass through collection and refresh cycles before they appear here, so what you see can lag or differ from the official registry. Entity names, statuses, filing dates, identifiers, and classification codes shown on RegistryAtlas are informational only. Before you rely on a record for anything that matters — a filing, a contract, due diligence — confirm it with the official source: the state's Secretary of State (or equivalent filing office), the IRS, or the SEC.
Acceptable use
The tools are for ordinary, human-scale lookups. You may not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site's data; hammer the site with automated or high-volume requests; probe or interfere with its infrastructure; resell or republish its compiled datasets as your own; or use the site for anything unlawful. We may block or rate-limit traffic that does any of this.
